During the investigation Dogoda had ferreted out certain lists of apparent interest to someone. He had done so by hacking the entire Internet using clever code words such as Blip.fm and Last.fm and Twitter.
Nearly simultaneously—that is, within a nanosecond—there was the buzzing/popping sound of an arc lamp accompanied by a visual reaction and, with ultra-clarity, a long-overlooked clue materialized. The buzzing/popping sound was also accompanied by a visceral reaction to the sudden onset of super-focus.
