Nearly simultaneouslythat is, within a nanosecondthere was the buzzing/popping sound of an arc lamp accompanied by a visual reaction and, with ultra-clarity, a long-overlooked clue materialized. The buzzing/popping sound was also accompanied by a visceral reaction to the sudden onset of super-focus.
